I am a physician trained at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), where I was awarded for excellence in scientific research, and a psychiatrist trained at the Institute of Psychiatry of the Hospital das Clínicas, University of São Paulo School of Medicine (IPq/HC-FMUSP).
I practice clinical psychiatry and psychotherapy, integrating up-to-date scientific knowledge, attentive listening, and shared decision-making. My goal is to collaboratively develop a therapeutic plan that is sensitive to each person’s history and context.
My approach is grounded in behavior analysis, particularly in third-wave contextual therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP).
These approaches aim to promote greater psychological flexibility, strengthen the ability to cope with challenging thoughts and emotions, and support a life more closely aligned with personal values.
